: Our standard check in time is from 4pm, with check out by 11am on the day of departure.

Subject to availability, we are able to offer an early check in from 2pm or a late check out until 1pm, for a surcharge of £15. If you would like to arrange either of these, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to assist.
: We have two fully accessible rooms located on the ground floor, both of which are equipped with wet room-style walk in showers. Our pub and restaurant area is also fully accessible and includes an accessible bathroom.
: Yes. If you expect to arrive after the pub has closed, please let us know in advance where possible. We have a night porter on site throughout the night who will be happy to assist you with your check in, ensuring you can access your room whenever you arrive.
: During the day, guest rooms are accessed through the pub. Outside of pub opening hours, you’ll use the separate hotel entrance, allowing you to come and go independently. You’ll receive full details at check in, and if you’re arriving late our night porter will be happy to assist you.

: As a traditional pub, you may occasionally hear some noise from the bar, particularly during busier periods. We sometimes host live music on Friday evenings, which can create a livelier atmosphere. We also occasionally show major international sporting events, such as the FIFA World Cup, but we do not regularly screen sports.

If you’re looking for a quieter stay, please let us know when booking and we’ll do our best to allocate you a room away from the busiest areas, subject to availability.

Are the rooms soundproofed?
: Our rooms are not fully soundproofed. As we’re a traditional pub with accommodation, you may occasionally hear some noise from the bar or other guests, particularly during busy periods. We always aim to minimise disruption, and if you’re a light sleeper, please let us know when booking and we’ll do our best to allocate you a quieter room, subject to availability.
: Breakfast is included with selected rates. If you’ve booked a room-only rate, breakfast can be added either before your stay or during your visit.

Breakfast is served in the pub restaurant each morning and is freshly cooked to order. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
: We serve breakfast from 7am until 11:30 am on weekdays, and 8am until 11am on weekends. Breakfast may or may not be included in your room price depending on the rate plan or package booked. Please check your reservation for details or contact us if you are unsure of your reservation details.
: Yes, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a menu featuring classic pub favourites made using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

: We do not have on-site parking. However, the nearest public car park is Teville Gate Car Park, which is just a short walk from the hotel and offers convenient parking for guests. There is also limited on-street parking nearby, subject to local restrictions and availability.

: Yes, children are welcome to stay at The Railway Hotel. Children are also welcome in the pub during our permitted hours, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
: Pets are welcome in selected rooms and across the pub. Please contact us in advance if you are planning to bring a pet so we can confirm availability and any applicable charges.
: Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel for all guests.
: Yes, all of our guest rooms have their own private en-suite bathroom facilities.
: We do not currently offer a guest discount, but our full food and drink menu is available to enjoy during your stay.
: We do not offer room service. Guests are welcome to order food and drinks from the bar to take back to their rooms. If you require any assistance our team will be happy to help.
: You may cancel your reservation if you have booked a ‘Flexible Policy’ rate plan or package at any time by following the same source/channel of your original booking. If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours of the date of arrival with us, you will not be liable for a cancellation charge.

If you cancel your reservation with us within 48 hours of the agreed date of arrival, you will be liable to us for a 100% penalty cancellation charge equal to the value of your total stay.

‘Advance Purchase or Non-Refundable Policy’ bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. You are able to cancel the booking but 100% penalty will apply and no refunds will be given.
: Yes, check-in takes place at the bar. Our team will welcome you on arrival and provide you with your room details and keycard.
: Yes, we are happy to store your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready. Please speak with a member of our team on arrival and we will be happy to assist.
